The Korean auto giant, Hyundai, has launched the facelifted Hyundai Grand i10 Nios at a price of Rs 5.69 – 8.47 lakh (ex-showroom). 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift: Exterior
The most prominent exterior change is a new aggressive front bumper that houses the enlarged net-like grille, finished in black and flanked by new tri-arrow-shaped LED DRLs along with the side intakes. The new Grand i10 Nios also gets refreshed 15-inch alloy wheels while the rest of the side profile is largely unchanged. The rear end of the Grand i10 Nios is adorned by new LED tail-lights that are connected by a light bar. The Korean carmaker is offering the new Grand i10 Nios in six colour options – Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Spark Green, Teal Blue and Fiery Red. Moreover, it also gets new dual-tone colour options – Spark Green with black roof and Polar White with black roof.
2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift: Interior
The cabin layout has been carried over, with a new grey (optional) upholstery for the seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, new lighting for the footwell and a metal finish on the inside of the door handles. Additionally, the new Grand i10 Nios retains features like 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, wireless charger. Above that, Hyundai has lifted the premium quotient with addition of automatic headlamps, Type-C USB ports, cruise control and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
With raising safety standards of the Indian automobile industry, the Korean carmaker has given great emphasis on safety. The facelifted Grand i10 Nios now gets four airbags, ABS and EBD as standard, while the higher variants also offer up to six airbags, ESC, ISOFIX anchorages and a day/night rear view mirror.
2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift: Engine and Transmission
There are no changes in terms of mechanicals and the facelifted Grand i10 Nios is powered by the same 1.2 litre petrol engine that produces 83 hp of power and 113.8 Nm, and is paired with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Moreover, just like the outgoing Grand i10 Nios, the new Grand i10 Nios offers a factory-fitted CNG kit with the 1.2-litre petrol engine which develops 69hp and 95.2Nm of torque and is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox.
