If you’re curious about what’s ahead or just dreaming of your next ride, this blog gives you a plain and clear peek at the Auto Expo’s top moments.

Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Dates, Venue

Events like the Bharat Mobility Expo are fascinating. They not only show us where the industry is headed but also show our journey so far – what we’ve accomplished till date. Many small steps, each playing a part in the big story of change.

This year, the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 takes place from January 17th to 22nd, across three different spots in Delhi-NCR. Each place has its own special showcase.

However, the main stage is at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. The Auto Expo Motor Show here will showcase new cars and launches – new EVs, SUVs, and cool future designs. Location is quite handy, with easy access via the Supreme Court Metro Station. There is a lot of parking, well placed food courts, and a lot of space on the inside, so the cars can shine!

The other places (Greater Noida and Dwarka) are not directly related to new cars. The show in Yashobhoomi, Dwarka shows the components and parts like batteries, tires, engines, and everything in between. For those who love the nuts and bolts of design, this is where the real fun is. The last venue is the one in India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. The India Expo Centre will show new ways for city travel, new infrastructure improvements, and sustainable planning for cities.

Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 Recap

Last year was big for car launches in India, with the Bharat Mobility Expo showing new cars and ideas. Tata Motors showed the Harrier EV, their first electric SUV, and also brought out the Curvv ICE, a stylish coupe SUV that went on sale in late 2024. Mahindra caused a stir with the BE 6, a coupe-style electric SUV many see as a rival to the Tata Curvv. Now on the roads, the BE 6 stands out with its fresh design and top-class performance.

Tata also added the Nexon CNG to its range, the first SUV in India with a twin-cylinder CNG setup. It offers more boot space and better fuel saving for green-minded buyers. The Altroz Racer stood out too. It’s a sportier version of the Altroz hatchback with a strong turbo-petrol engine and eye-catching style.

Overall, the Bharat Mobility Expo in 2024 was a hit with many new cars. We expect 2025 will bring even more. Here’s a quick look ahead:

Most Anticipated Cars

Here are the 5 most anticipated cars amongst these:

MG Cyberster

The Cyberster, a two-door electric car by MG, will be shown for the first time at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It will be sold only through the brand’s premium ‘Select’ stores. It will get a 77kWh battery pack coupled with two oil-cooled motors on each axle, simulating an AWD setup. It gets a 580 km range as well as top power of 510 PS and peak torque of 725 Nm, going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

Maruti Suzuki eVitara

The E-vitara will be Maruti Suzuki’s first EV to launch and it will debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. Built on the eVX concept car, it comes with two battery options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The latter is set to have all-wheel drive and a range of over 500 km per charge. The batteries are sourced from BYD in China. While it will launch in March, it will only debut at this expo.

Tata Sierra

The Tata Sierra EV will show up at the Bharat Mobility Expo. You’ll be able to buy it by mid-2025, with petrol / diesel versions coming later. It will keep its famous glass roof but with a new look and safer design. The Sierra EV will probably have a similar if not same engine setup as the Harrier EV and at least one version should come with AWD.

Harrier EV

Like the new Curvv EV and the current Punch EV, the Harrier EV will use the brand’s Acti.ev architecture. Though it is based on the same Land Rover Omega platform as the regular Harrier, it has been redone to have an electric motor. Inside, it is likely to have a flat floor, and Tata also said it will feature vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging abilities. It is expected to get a 60kWh battery with up to 500km of range, and it will have a dual motor set-up and all-wheel drive system.

Kia EV6 Facelift

The Kia EV6 facelift will launch during this expo with a fresh exterior and interior. On the outside it will get a new nose design. The front bumper and lower grill will get a fresh look along with many other cosmetic changes. It gets a new driver screen, infotainment system, digital rear-view mirror, and more. It will run on a larger 84 kWh battery with up to 494km range. The EV6 RWD model has a motor with 225hp and 350Nm torque. Dual-motor versions have 320hp and 605Nm torque. Kia says the EV6 facelift also has dampers that make the ride much smoother than before.
