After the recent updates on Amaze and Dzire, Tata has responded with its own updated Tata Tigor all set to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025! The updates include mild styling tweaks, additional features and advanced technology for a few variants. Under the hood the Tigor remains the same and comes in six variants with prices ranging from Rs. 5.99 to 8.25 Lakhs. So far, the teaser images revealed for the Tigor show the familiar- looking silhouette with a few cosmetic upgrades like LED headlights and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Here are the highlights:

2025 Tata Tigor Exterior
The Tigor was last updated in 2020, and compared to the 2020 update, the 2025 model seems to have the same exterior, with the exception of a few minor upgrades. To begin with, the front grille and the bumper have been redesigned along with a new humanity line, and the fascia is now equipped with LED MFR headlamps. The side profile stands out with its striking R14 Hyper style dual-tone wheels, adding a bold and unique touch. Coming to the rear, beside the addition of a shark fin antenna it remains unchanged, the base XE trim level gets a rear parking sensor and LED taillight.
2025 Tata Tigor Interior
Compared to the exterior, the interior gets significant upgrades starting with the smart steering wheel with illumination along with a fully digital instrument cluster. This upgrade is available from the base model itself. It also gets a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, a rear wiper and washer, cruise control, push-button start/stop, a 4-speaker sound system, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers. The dashboard now features a refreshed grey-beige color scheme, complemented by a dual-tone upholstery palette. The seat upholstery has been enhanced for a more premium touch. It’s safe to say that with these updates, the Tiago Facelift’s cabin gives off a more modern and rejuvenated vibe.
2025 Tata Tigor Powertrain
The Tigor 2025 has seen a few changes in its trim lineup, with the XZ+ variant being replaced by the new XZ+ Tech Lux. The XE trim remains the base variant, while the mid variant is now the XT. The Tigor 2025 continues to offer both Medium Range and Long-Range battery options, with the AC Fast Charging variants being discontinued. The Medium Range variants are equipped with a 19.2 kWh battery pack and a motor that delivers 60 PS and 110 Nm of torque, while the Long-Range variants get a 24-kWh battery pack and a more powerful motor with 75 PS and 114 Nm of torque. Both variants feature a single-speed automatic gearbox, and the top speed is limited to 120 km/h making it more of a city car.
2025 Tata Tigor Pricing and Competition
The Tiago remains one of the most budget-friendly electric cars in India, with prices starting at Rs. 5.99 lakh for the Medium Range XE trim and going up to Rs. 8.52 lakh for the Long Range XZ Tech Lux trim. The updated Tigor will compete against the new-generation Maruti Dzire, the latest Honda Amaze, and the Hyundai Aura.
