MG Motor is capitalising big on the opportunity of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The car brand has showcased 6 cars, 2 of which will be launched this year. Let’s explore all the cars MG exhibited at the Auto Expo 2025.
MG Majestor

The Majestor is the facelifted MG Gloster exhibited at the Auto Expo 2025. However, it will be positioned above the Gloster and sold alongside it. In its overall appeal, the Majestor looks quite different from the Gloster, especially due to the larger blacked-out grille with horizontal slats, and an oversized MG logo. On the inside, the MG Majestor gets an all-black interior, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an all-digital instrument cluster with customisable interfaces. In terms of features, the Majestor will be richer than the Gloster, which offers a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated driver seats with power adjust and massage function, a heated front passenger seat, three-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, a 12-speaker music system, a powered tailgate, and more. The MG Majestor is expected to bring the same 216 hp-producing 2-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine from the MG Gloster and it will be priced around Rs 40 – 45 lakh (ex-showroom).
MG Cyberster EV

The ongoing Auto Expo 2025 saw MG displaying the MG Cyberster EV, which is expected to be launched soon. This is MG’s most powerful electric roadster and is slated to be sold through MG’s premium outlets. Powered by a 77 kWh battery pack, the Cyberster EV has one electric motor on each axle, which produces 510 PS and 725 Nm combined for an adrenaline-rushing performance. Meanwhile, it offers a range of 443 km. For fashionable sporty attire, the Cyberster EV has a planted aerodynamic stance, sits on 20-inch alloy wheels, and features scissor doors and a retractable roof. On the inside, the Cyberster has a futuristic interior with a tri-screen arrangement in front of the driver’s seat. This includes two screens for the driver’s display – a 7-inch unit and a 10.25-inch unit, and there is a 7-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Moreover, it has sporty seats and a multi-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with controls for audio and the driver’s displays. The steering also features a round dial for launch control and there are paddle shifters to adjust the regeneration modes. For passenger safety, the MG Cyberster is equipped with 6 airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a Level-2 ADAS safety suite, and more. While the MG Cyberster EV will not have a direct rival, it can be considered an electric-powered alternative to the BMW Z4.
New MG Astor

The new-gen MG Astor has been revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It was globally unveiled in August 2024, however, now the carmaker has confirmed that it will hit the Indian market soon. The new MG Astor gets some cosmetic updates such as connected LED DRLs, revamped headlamps, a larger grille with honeycomb mesh pattern, dual-tone alloy wheels and a chrome strip on the black body cladding. At the rear, the bumper has been revamped, while the wraparound tail lights are the same as before. MG M9

MG has debuted its flagship electric MUV, the MG M9 at the Auto Expo 2025. Initially, it was showcased at Auto Expo 2023 as Mifa 9, however, it will be sold in India with the name ‘MG M9.’ The MG M9 is a massive electric MUV, with a length of 5,207 mm, which makes it longer than even Toyota Vellfire. It gets an upright stance and a clean overall silhouette with some cuts and creases. Offered in 6- & 7-seater configurations, the MG has a minimalist interior with a black-and-white theme in its premium cabin. Its dashboard features a large glass display, which integrates three large screens for the instrument cluster, main infotainment system, and front passenger side infotainment system. The centre console has ample storage space with cupholders and a wireless charger. The other features include powered front and second-row seats with ventilation and eight massage modes, 3-zone climate control, a 12-speaker sound system, and more. The safety kit consists of 7 airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, a Level-2 ADAS safety suite, and more. The MG M9 is powered by a 90 kWh battery, which is paired with a single electric motor, which generates 244 PS and 350 Nm. With a front-wheel-drive drivetrain, the MG M9 delivers a claimed range of 430 km. Once launched, the MG M9 will be an electric alternative to the Toyota Vellfire, Lexus LM, and Kia Carnival.
MG 7 Trophy

MG has unveiled the MG 7 Trophy sedan at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This premium sedan looks stunning with a fluidic design with many aggressive cuts and creases, much like the Hyundai Elantra. Up front, it gets sleek sharp-edged LED headlamps with T-shaped LED DRLs and a bonnet sloping towards the meshed smile-shaped grille. The side profile highlights the 19-inch alloy wheels, frameless windows with chrome surrounds, and black cladding covering the bottom of the sedan. At the back, the MG 7 gets connected tail lamps, a chunky spoiler mounted on the tailgate, and two exhaust pipes on either side of the sedan. Like the exterior, the interior of the MG 7 is sporty with a dual-tone colour scheme and racing seats garbed in leatherette upholstery. The other elements on the inside include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 3-spoke steering wheel with flattened top and bottom portions, and a supersport button like what we see with Mercedes-AMG cars. MG has loaded the MG 7 Trophy with a bunch of upscale features such as a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, a 9-speaker Bose sound system, a head-up display, 6-way powered driver seat, and more. For the safety equipment, the MG 7 Trophy gets multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, a Level-2 ADAS safety suite, and more. The MG 7 Trophy is powered by a 2-litre turbo petrol engine, which produces 265 PS and 405 Nm and comes mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
IM 5 & iM 6

IM, which refers to ‘Intelligent Mobility,’ is an EV-centric brand housed by MG’s parent brand, SAIC Motor. At the ongoing Auto Expo 2025, MG displayed two cars from the IM brand: IM 5 sedan and IM 6 SUV. Except for the body styles, both electric cars look quite similar in terms of overall design language. Both have clean swoopy panels, flared fenders, sleek slim DRLs, boomerang-shaped headlamps, and full-width tail lamps assembly at the rear. The special trait of the IM 5 and IM 6 is the solid-state battery, which reduces the charging duration and mitigates leakage risks compared to lithium-ion batteries. Both cars have four-wheel steering and are powered by a 100 kWh battery, which has a claimed range of 600 km. On the inside, the IM 5 and IM 6 have a 26.3-inch panoramic screen setup, an additional vertical 10.5-inch screen, and a yoke-like steering wheel.
