The esteemed Indian carmaker, Tata Motors has exhibited some aspirational models at the ongoing Auto Expo 2025. From the futuristic Tata Avinya to the Bandipur Editions of the Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, and Tata Nexon EV, the auto giant has pulled out a slew of big guns to flex its strength. Let’s take a closer look at all the Tata cars showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

Tata Avinya

Tata Avinya

Tata Avinya has been one of the most speculated Tata cars in recent years.  Notably, the Tata Avinya will not be a particular car, but a brand that an Indian carmaker plans to launch in 2026. The Tata Avinya brand will bring in several models based on JLR’s EMA architecture, codenamed P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5. Meanwhile, the Tata Avinya concept that’s been showcased at the Auto Expo gives an overall picture of the upcoming models from this brand. The visual profile of the Avinya concept shows a muscular body with aggressive cuts and creases all around, with T-shaped LED full-with DRLs and a closed-off grille at the front. On the side, the notable elements include 22-inch alloy wheels, flush-type door handles for the front doors, no door handles for rear doors – there are buttons instead, camera-based ORVMs, and a Tata Avinya badge on the front doors. At the back, there is a prominent bumper and connected Tail lamps with a full-width T-shaped light bar. In terms of features, the Avinya models are expected to sport 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, and multi-zone climate control. Moreover, there will be some EV-specific features such as vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging. For safety equipment, there will be at least 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, a Level-2 ADAS safety suite, and more. The Tata Avinya models will be based on the EMA platform, which is capable of accommodating battery packs that can deliver up to 500 km range.

Tata Sierra

Tata Sierra

Like the Tata Avinya, the Tata Sierra has been one of the hottest topics in the Indian car market in recent years. It’s because the old Tata Sierra, which was sold in the 1990s stands as one of the most iconic cars in the history of Tata Motors. Now, the Indian carmaker has brought back the Tata Sierra with modern makings and it’s been exhibited at the Auto Expo 2025. This is the near-production ICE-powered avatar of the Tata Sierra, while its EV version is expected to be launched sooner than the ICE version. For the new-age Tata Sierra, Tata Motors has followed its latest design philosophy, while retaining Sierra’s traditional aesthetics thanks to the similar-looking silhouette that shaped the old Tata Sierra. At the front, the Tata Sierra gets a blacked-out grille, a full-width LED strip flanked by LED DRLs, while the headlamps are integrated into the bumper. The side profile highlights the traditional curved-over rear windows like those of the old Tata Sierra, squarish wheel arches, flush-type door handles, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and plenty of body cladding to give it a rugged character. At the back, the Tata Sierra gets a slim pair of full-width LED tail lamps and a gloss black rear bumper with a silver skid plate. The interior of Tata Sierra looks more modern than the current Tata cars. A key highlight is a single panel integrating three large screens, spanned across the width of the entire dashboard with sleek AC vents below. In the feature department, the Tata Sierra is expected to offer dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a JBL sound system, up to 7 airbags, a Level-2 ADAS safety suite, and more. Based on Tata’s ATLAS architecture, the Tata Sierra is expected to offer two engines: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2-litre turbo diesel engine.

Tata Harrier EV

Tata Harrier EV

Tata Motors first exhibited the Tata Harrier EV in the concept form at the Auto Expo 2023. Now, the Indian carmaker has revealed its production-spec version at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Like some other Tata EVs, the Tata Harrier EV is based on the standard ICE-powered Tata Harrier, which is underpinned by the Land Rover-derived OmegaArc platform. Consequently, Tata the Harrier EV is expected to bring the same fundamental strengths as the ICE Harrier, including the high safety rating. The Tata Harrier EV looks largely the same as the ICE Tata Harrier, however, there are some EV-specific modifications to keep the EV version distinguishable. For example, at the front, the Tata Harrier EV gets a sealed-off grille with horizontal stripes, ‘.EV’ badging on the front doors and tailgate, revised front bumper with vertical slats as seen on the Tata Nexon EV and Tata Curvv EV, and dual-tone aero-optimised alloy wheels. At the back, the Tata Harrier EV features the same connected tail lights as the standard Tata Harrier. Like the exterior, the interior is mostly carried forward from the ICE Tata Harrier, but with a different colour theme. In terms of features, the Tata Harrier EV comes with two 12.3-inch screens – one for infotainment and the other for digital driver display, ventilated front seats, 6-way powered driver’s seat, and 4-way powered front passenger seat, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, vehicle-to-load (V2L), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities, new terrain modes, connected car tech, and more. Passenger safety is taken care of by up to 7 airbags, a Level-2 ADAS safety suite, a 360-degree camera, and more. As far as the powertrain is concerned, the Tata Harrier EV comes with a dual-motor setup, with one electric motor mounted on each axle; both these motors produce a combined torque of 500 Nm. However, Tata is yet to reveal the battery specifications of the Tata Harrier EV.

Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, and Tata Nexon EV Bandipur Editions

Tata Nexon EV Bandipur Edition

After recently discontinuing the Kaziranga Edition line-up, Tata Motors has unveiled the Bandipur edition of the Tata Safari, Tata Harrier, and Tata Nexon EV. Essentially, the Bandipur Edition is a tribute to the wildlife of the national park located in Bandipur, Karnataka. The three Bandipur edition SUVs have a unique “Bandipur Bronze” exterior paint shade, which is inspired by the “clay soil” seen in Bandipur. Additionally, there is a special satin gunmetal-finished “Elephant Mascot” on the front fenders of each vehicle. All three SUVs have dark grey alloy wheels, a roof rack, and a hood scoop. On the inside, they feature a dark brown colour theme, with Khaki colour-finished door pads, and matching Khaki stitching.

Tata Harrier EV and Tata Safari Stealth Editions

Tata Harrier EV Stealth edition

In addition to Bandipur editions, Tata Motors showcased Stealth Editions of the upcoming Tata Harrier EV and Tata Safari. This Stealth edition line-up is painted in matte black and gets leather seats in a granite black finish, Stealth badging on the inside, and slight tweaks to the dashboard finish. On the Tata Safari Stealth Edition, the grille, air dam, and bumper have been blacked out, while the Tata Harrier EV Stealth Edition features dual-tone alloy wheels.
