Since Hyundai announced that it will be offering six airbags as standard across the line-up, the most affordable option became the Grand i10 Nios, its entry level hatchback. 

Prior to this update, the top-spec Asta trim was the only version to be equipped with six airbags, while the others received four. Other safety tech on board consists of a reversing camera, electronic stability control (ESC), ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

The Hyundai Venue N Line also gets six airbags as standard ever since its introduction in the Indian market. Tata’s three-cylinder turbo-petrol makes 120 hp and is available with a 5 or 6-speed manual gearbox, and the 115 hp diesel engine is available with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT.

It is quite frugal as it gives out 17.01–17.44 kmpl for the petrol variants and the diesel variants have a claimed efficiency of 23.23 kmpl. On top of six airbags, the Nexon is loaded with a 360-degree camera, electronic stability programme (ESP), 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and front and rear parking sensors.

The premium hatchback is available in four variants, namely Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.

It is powered by a 1.2L petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual, which churns out 22.35 kmpl.
