A new, facelifted BMW X4 will be making its way into India sometime in March this year. The SUV Coupe is expected to have an updated front end and will feature marginal interior updates. Leaked images indicate the X4’s bumper will be sharper than the previous version while the head and tail lamps also look sleeker.
On the inside there are updated dashboard elements, a premium surround system, and a large touchscreen, among other goodies.
There haven’t been any mechanical changes though. The X4 will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that delivers a power output of 250bhp and 350Nm torque. Two diesel engines – a 2.0-litre four-cylinder and a 3.0-litre six-cylinder will also be included, which will produce 190 BHP and 260 BHP respectively.
The minor updates will also increase the price of the X4 but it would be a marginal increase. The outgoing BMW X4 has an ex-showroom price tag of Rs. 67.5 lakh. The Mercedes-Benz GLC- Coupe is the only rival of the X4.
