The festive season is a very special time for many of us. It’s a time to celebrate new beginnings in our lives with our family and close friends.
For Akshay Kulkarni, a software engineer in Pune, the festive season became a time to welcome a new member to his family. With a growing family, it also was the opportune moment to bring home a car that would keep his family mobile.
Small Beginnings
It is often said that big changes in life start with small steps. For Akshay and his wife, welcoming a newborn baby to their family was a very joyous occasion to start their family’s festive celebrations. Welcoming a newborn was just the start of their festivities.
“As we embark on this new chapter in our life, we wanted to be able to drive our own journey.”
Both Akshay and his wife used to earlier rely on using cabs to move around the city due to the convenience. However, travelling in cabs with a newborn would no longer be convenient or safe in the new normal. With a newborn in the family, Akshay says “it was time to finally add the “Baby on Board” sticker to our own car.”
Adding the “Car” in Family Car
Akshay’s requirements for a family car were straightforward. Keeping in mind Pune’s regularly congested roads, Akshay was interested in finding a compact car that provided good mileage and would be easy to maintain.
