After the launch of the Hyundai i20 Facelift earlier this month, Hyundai has now launched the all-new i20 N Line Facelift for the Indian market. The sportier iteration of the Hyundai i20, the N-Line has been quite a joyride since its introduction, especially for enthusiasts. Here’s all you need to know about the refreshed i20 N Line.
Hyundai i20 N Line: Price
Talking about the price first, the new i20 N Line facelift continues to be offered in a two-trim setup comprising the N6 and N8 trims. In its latest avatar, the Hyundai i20 N Line comes at a starting price of Rs. 9.99 Lakh for the N6 Manual trim, with the top-of-the-line N8 DCT trim priced at Rs. 12.31 Lakh. Here’s the variant-wise price breakup of the N Line:

Hyundai i20 N Line: Design and Exteriors
Compared to the pre-facelift model, not much has changed on the new Hyundai i20 N line in terms of exterior design. The hatchback continues to offer the same parametric grille, front bumper and prominent splitters with red accents. The rear profile does bring in a mildly altered bumper with a prominent diffuser, twin exhaust outlets, tailgate spoiler and red accents in addition to a dark chrome lining connected to the rear tail lamps.
What’s new onboard are the full-LED headlamps that replace the old LED projector units, along with new 16-inch alloys. The Hyundai i20 N Line facelift is being offered in six single-tone paint options along with dual-tone options that are available at additional costs.
Hyundai i20 N Line: Features and Interiors
Sharing its cabin and dashboard design with the standard Hyundai i20, the N Line sets the tone with N Line badging seats and signature red accents here. Going with the N Line’s theme, the hatchback also offers red ambient lighting, N Line-specific steering along with metal pedals for a sportier look.
Features onboard are at par with the top-end trim of the standard i20 and include goodies such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, single-pane sunroof, 7-speaker BOSE audio setup, automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless charging and much more. Safety is taken care of by 6 airbags, TPMS, automatic headlamps, ESC, ABS with EBD, hill assist etc.
Hyundai i20 N Line Facelift: Engine
The biggest change that the Hyundai i20 N Line brings to the table lies under its hood. The hatchback’s 6-speed iMT gearbox is no longer on offer and is now replaced with a 6-speed manual unit. As for the engine, the i20 N Line continues to be offered with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 120 PS of power with 172 NM of peak torque. However, now that the standard i20 is not being offered with a turbo-petrol engine, the N Line is the only i20 variant that offers a turbo-petrol engine. Other than the 6-speed manual, the N Line continues to offer a seven-speed DCT along with its sportier suspension setup and exhaust note along with rear disc brakes.
Hyundai i20 N Line: Rivals
With the Polo GT TSI bidding adieu to the Indian market, the Hyundai i20 N Line now stands as the sole king of the segment with no direct rival in place. The closest possible rival, however, is the turbo-petrol power Tata Altroz iTurbo, which matches the N Line in terms of engine but misses out on aspects like suspension, tuning and exhaust.
