The compact SUV segment has a new competitor and it is the Nissan Magnite. Nissan is looking to significantly gain market share by offering an introductory launch price of ₹4.99 lakhs for the Nissan Magnite. The launch price will be available on all bookings made till December 31.
Nissan is showing very serious intent and commitment to the Indian market with the Nissan Magnite. It’s earlier SUV, the Nissan Kicks, was not able to capture the imagination of the Indian customer. Nissan hopes that the Magnite is able to reignite the Japanese brand’s fortunes in India. So far, 5000 bookings within 5 days of launch seems to suggest Nissan might be on the right track.
