Mahindra has recently rendered some glimpses of the upcoming biggest and 7-seater member of the XUV line-up, Mahindra XUV700. Anticipated to make its debut in late 2021, the all-new SUV is one of the most awaited cars. What is Mahindra XUV700?
The bigger profiled new 7-seater SUV will be underpinned by an entirely new W601 platform to geometrically fit well the massive rear overhang. The contour of the vertical grill extends to cover the uniquely designed LED headlamps and DRLs. Small protrusion through the window line and interestingly designed alloy wheels are ornamenting the side view. The rear has massive Arrow-head tail lamps and a shark-fin antenna.
A fully digital instrument cluster and a touch screen infotainment system will share a glass panel substantially enhancing the convenience level of the spacious cabin. The smart AdrenoX system offers voice commands for some basic operations like controlling the sunroof, Sony 3-D music system, and swapping drive modes. Engine and Powertrains
Mahindra XUV700 will be powered by two engines that are also available in Mahindra Thar but machined to churn out more power. The availability of an AWD drive system will serve the off-roading well. The mStallion 2.0L petrol engine will churn out 200 bhp and the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine will deliver 185 bhp. The power will be transmitted through either a 6-Speed torque converter automatic or a 6-Speed manual gearbox.
What will be the Mahindra XUV700 price?
Mahindra XUV700 is expected to hit the market by late 2021. Its ex showroom pricing is anticipated to be ₹15 lakhs – ₹20 Lakhs which is somewhat similar to the current price range of its competitors and Mahindra XUV500. The SUV will certainly be a strong rival to Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari.
