Step 1 – Procurement of No Objection Certificate (NOC) From The Traffic Department: (Required if seller and buyer of used car reside in different RTO area)
If the transferee has bought a used vehicle that is not registered in Ahmedabad, then in that case, one has to de-register the vehicle at the original RTO by following the below mentioned steps –
- Apply for a NOC with Form 28 and three copies of the Chassis print should be made.
- If the used car has not been registered in any of the RTOs of Ahmedabad, then one will have to get a Form 29 from the original or previous RTO.

Step 5 – Payment Of Road Tax
