Rupesh is a man who pursues many interests with a strong passion. Over the last few years, he has been open to any opportunity that piqued his interest. The opportunity to model was just the door he was looking for to begin exploring his interests in modelling.
“I passionately maintain my style and my beard,” shares Rupesh about how he got his break in modelling, “Seeing my interest, my friend suggested I try out for a modelling shoot.” One thing led to another, and soon Rupesh was modelling for beard grooming brands as well as popular clothing brands in Pune.
“I got the right opportunity at the right time to explore my passion for modelling.”
Passionate Pursuits
A first impression of Rupesh would be that of confidence. However, this was not always the case. “I’m actually quite shy,” he reveals, “But I didn’t want my shyness to stop me from experiencing new things in life.” Modelling gave him the space to build his confidence even further and devote his energies to improving his presence.
Rupesh’s journey with Spinny begins with a forced break from modelling due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns. Here again he saw an opportunity to work on removing his shyness and hesitation. A perfect candidate for a role in customer relations at Spinny.
“I am always 100% dedicated to my work and my passions, and always find the time for both.”
Starting as a Relationship Manager at Spinny, Rupesh quickly made his way to the Closure Team, where he would regularly interact with 80-100 customers every day. “Talking with so many people has not been a major challenge for me,” he shares about his experience, “Taking the time to tackle the toughest queries is always enjoyable.”
The Spirit to Do More
While the pandemic has put a break in Rupesh’s modelling endeavours, it hasn’t dampened his enthusiasm for his passion. “I am looking forward to getting in front of a camera very soon,” he adds, “I’m always on the lookout for the next opportunity to model.” As for his career prospects, he is keen on growing with Spinny, aiming to become a Hub Manager.
