Tata holds a special place for adventure enthusiasts with the Tata Sierra and the Tata Safari being notable for their off-roading credentials. With the Tata Harrier, Tata is on track to return to its off-roading roots. After the launch of the Tata Harrier Dark Edition, Tata has launched the Tata Harrier Camo Edition starting from ₹16.50 lakhs.
What is the Tata Harrier Camo Edition?
The Tata Harrier Camo Edition is a brand new cosmetic package being offered from Tata Motors. The Tata Harrier now gets a brand new Camo Green paint that brings back nostalgic memories of the Tata Safari Storme in the Indian Army Green. In addition to this, Tata has outfitted the Tata Harrier with a side step and special Camo decals on the roof, hood, and doors.
To further embrace the adventurous spirit, the Tata Harrier Camo Edition now comes with black inserts rather than the chrome highlights on the standard Harrier. This includes the side skirt, the lower part of the grille, the strip below the tailgate, and the 17-inch alloy wheels which are now all black to lend a stealthier look to the SUV.
Keeping with the overall stealth aesthetic, the Tata Harrier Camo Edition does away with the brown leather interiors. Instead, the Tata Harrier Camo Edition is now equipped with an all-black leather interior that matches the rugged aesthetics of the car.
Tata Harrier Camo Edition Features
While Tata has brought attractive cosmetic changes, the fundamental feature list of the Tata Harrier Camo Edition remains the same as the standard Tata Harrier. A perfect example of “if its not broken then don’t fix it.”
This means that the Tata Harrier gets automatic projector headlights, LED DRLs, a 7-inch infotainment system, and a nine-speaker JBL sound system (on higher variants). There is also the option of a panoramic sunroof to further enhance the driving experience in the Tata Harrier Camo Edition.
The Tata Harrier Camo Edition also comes equipped with the 2-litre turbo diesel engine that is present on the standard Harrier. In addition to this, there is an option of either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
