Electric vehicles are no longer the future – they’re the present. As we cruise through 2025, the EV landscape is more exciting than ever. We have compact city runabouts and luxurious SUVs. It’s cliche to say it, but yes, there truly is an EV for every taste and budget now. Sales are going through the roof, with India selling nearly 1 lakh units in the past year alone. They’re no longer just seen as being “eco-friendly” and “saving the planet” anymore; auto enthusiasts would be glad to hear that these cars are genuinely fun to drive and have more than you can ask for in terms of tech.

Why the sudden interest? Well, for one, range anxiety is becoming less of a worry. Many new models can go 400 to 500 km on a single charge, which is pretty impressive. Plus, charging times are getting shorter – some cars can hit 80% in under 30 minutes. And let’s not forget the performance; some EVs can go from 0 to 100 km/h in times that’ll leave petrolheads speechless. Plus, prices are now lower than ever! And the availability of charging stations has also increased all over India.

Let’s take a closer look at the  EVs that we have as options as a buyer today in 2025!
