India will be the main manufacturing plant for the eVX, with production commencing in early January.  Here’s some features to look forward to: – Will be the first Maruti Suzuki product to offer ADAS. – Will have a long wheelbase and short overhang giving it an athletic appearance. – Will offer two battery pack options of 48kWh and 60kWh with a 550 km driving range.

Maruti has not yet revealed the interior or exterior specifications of the eVX The roof is going to be coupe shaped and the exterior is going to be based on the brand’s new skateboard platform. The eVX has a very futuristic and robust design with high ground clearance and is going to be one of the first Maruti Suzuki products to offer ADAS.  Some speculative sources say that the eVX could feature dual-pod projector headlights, LED tail lights and lightbar at the rear, shark-fin antenna and an integrated spoiler.

The eVX will offer two battery pack choices – 48 kWh and 60 kWh, and is expected to deliver up to 550 km in range.  The ‘Emotional Versatile Cruiser’ Concept SUV eVX’s upright posture, horizontal hood, commanding high seating, maximised cabin size, long wheelbase, large wheels, high ground clearance, and signature LED light elements are unmistakable design elements derived from Suzuki’s SUV heritage.

Maruti eVX Competitors

With all the information from spy shots and the official press release by Maruti Suzuki, the eVX will go against the likes of MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV and Hyundai Creta EV. Developed in collaboration with Toyota, there will also be a Toyota-badged version of the eVX available a few months after its launch.
