The Jeep Compass comes in as a midsize premium SUV in the Indian market. It is a relatively new car, having first come on the scene in 2017 as a fresh new product. Jeep gave it an extensive facelift and launched an updated model in January 2021. While the pre-facelift model was primarily known for its build quality and the Jeep badge, the facelifted model of the Compass also has an exquisitely finished interior and feels properly premium. In terms of competition, the Jeep Compass goes up against the likes of Tata Harrier and MG Hector. As far as the Indian market goes, the Jeep Compass has a very important job to do. It’s one of the few products that focuses on delivering a solid experience and if the price is the price that needs to be paid for it, then so be it. While a majority of car owners wouldn’t find the Jeep Compass a value-for-money offering, the reality is, the Compass is hiding its value in the experience it delivers instead of its size, specs, or feature list. Therefore, its cars like the Jeep Compass that offer a glimpse of hope to other carmakers to develop cars that focus on delivering an enriching experience. It then makes sense that individuals who see value in things other than just the price tag will find the Jeep Compass to be an alluring option.

"The Jeep Compass offers excellent interiors but when you look at the space, the price of it pings a little. All in all, a great SUV but it could have been impossible to fault if its price was lower by three or four lakhs."
"The Jeep Compass is the only car I recommend to anyone else. Its solid build quality adds a sense of safety in my everyday drive, and it's a very easy car to drive. The diesel-auto combination works really well for me, and the standard 4x4 has even egged me to explore a few off-road spots near my house."
"I love the Jeep Compass! Since I bought it in July, I have not felt like driving any other car for any purpose. It behaves well in the city, cruises effortlessly on the highways and even handles my annual pilgrimage to Ladakh with a can-do attitude. #Onecargarage"
"Quite overpriced as an SUV and that is the only blunder Jeep has made. Otherwise, a solid package with safety, features and performance. Five lakhs cheaper and Jeep wouldn’t have been able to keep up with the demand."
"I often drive long distances on the highways and the diesel manual is my preferred choice. It’s frugal for its size and all that time I get to enjoy the Jeep name! Shout out to the sound quality from the Alpine sound system. Makes my day every time I turn them on."
